Coaching

Simple, structured coaching to help you improve your golf

How Coaching Works

Improving your golf isn’t just about how your swing looks.

It’s about how your swing holds up on the course, when you have to choose the right shot, commit to it, and execute it under pressure.

Coaching focuses on both parts of the game.

You build a more consistent swing, but you also learn how to use it properly, understanding your ball flight, making better decisions, and managing your game more effectively.

Sessions are practical and focused. You work on the areas that matter most, with clear guidance on what to change and how to practise.

Over time, this helps you build a more reliable swing and a better understanding of how to play.

What You Can Work On

You can choose to focus on a specific area of your game or improve your overall consistency.

Each area is covered in a structured way, so you can build confidence and see steady improvement over time.

Range Work and On-Course Improvement

Most golfers improve their technique on the range, but find it doesn’t always transfer to the course.

The range is controlled. You’re repeating the same shot, with no pressure and no decisions to make. This is where 1-2-1 coaching is most effective, helping you understand your swing, your ball flight, and what needs to change.

The course is different. Every shot is slightly different, and you have to decide what to play, commit to it, and execute it. This is where on-course coaching becomes important, because it focuses on how you use your game in real situations.

That’s why coaching isn’t just about building a better swing.

It’s about learning how to apply it, choosing the right shot, managing mistakes, and understanding what your ball is doing when it matters.

Both parts are important, and they work together.

Ways to Work With Chris

There are two ways to get started, group coaching or 1-to-1 sessions.

Both follow the same approach, but differ in how much individual focus you get and how quickly you want to progress.

Group Coaching

Group sessions are the easiest way to get started.

They run regularly and focus on specific areas of the game in a structured, practical format. You’ll work on key skills with clear guidance, while still getting individual input where needed.

This is a good option if you want to improve your consistency, build confidence, and get regular coaching without committing to 1-to-1 sessions.

1-to-1 Coaching

1-to-1 sessions are used for more detailed work on your game.

These sessions focus on your swing and ball flight, helping you identify patterns, make changes, and build a clear plan for improvement.

They can also be used to work through specific issues that are affecting your performance on the course.

This is a good option if you want focused help or want to make faster progress.

Which Should You Start With?

If you’re new to coaching or want to improve your consistency, group sessions are the best place to start.

If you want more focused work on a specific issue, 1-to-1 coaching is the better option.

Many golfers start with group sessions and move into 1-to-1 when they want more detailed help. Most golfers benefit from doing both over time.
